Mass management of product catalog in the Control Panel

Products is a centralized product catalog for management. In the same view, you can search, filter, sort, and select products, as well as initiate mass actions without opening each product individually.

Open Products

Open Products at /products . The list displays the columns ID/SKU , Image , Name , Status , Manufacturer , Quality Score , Required Data Coverage , Price , Balance , and Updated .

Quality scoring helps you find common quality deficiencies in your product data. The mandatory data completion rate tells you how many of the mandatory attributes in an attribute family have been completed. The metrics are not visible to the customer as such.

Search and narrow down products

To narrow down the products, enter the product name or ID in the Search products field. Open Filters and narrow the list by Category , Manufacturer , or Status . Status options are In use , In use , and All statuses .

The category selection also includes its subcategories. Manufacturer options come from the manufacturer register.

You can also filter products based on Quality Score A-F and Minimum and Maximum Required Data Completion Percentage. Missing Required will target products that are missing required data.

The list uses pagination. Load more products from the bottom; selection and bulk function limit apply to selected product tags, not the entire search result automatically.

Arrange and open the product

Products are sorted by selecting the column heading to sort. The new selection reverses the direction from ascending to descending. This allows you to highlight, for example, the highest prices, lowest balances, or most recently updated products.

Select Open Product from the product row to edit all the information for a single product in the editor. Create New Product opens the creation of a new product.

You can open a preview for an image without changing the height of the table row. Opening a product does not change the catalog itself.

Select products for bulk operation

Products are selected for the bulk operation using the row checkboxes. A maximum of 100 products can be selected for one bulk operation. Larger target sets must be processed in batches.

The main actions in the selection bar are Copy to Category , Move to Category , and Update Status . The Add menu includes Update Manufacturer , Set Attribute Family , Set Product Bubble , Update Packing Unit , Update Availability , Store View Flags , and Delete .

Copying adds a link to the target category and preserves previous category links. When moving, both the source and target categories are selected. The source and target categories cannot be the same, and the target category must be eligible for moving.

Preview and confirm

The Products bulk action will first open a preview. Check the numbers Selected , Changing , Already in target state , and Blocked , as well as any warnings. Only select Confirm when the target and effect are correct.

If the selected set or product dependencies change after previewing, the service will require a new preview. This prevents the old calculation from being validated over another user's changes.

Mass deletion is permanent. It deletes the selected product lines and their product-category links. Verify the tags in the preview and use deletion only when products should not be kept in the Inactive state.

Impact on online shopping

Bulk changes to Products affect the store catalog based on the target field. Update Status changes products to In-Use or Out-Of-Use; store listings take into account product status, balance, and other availability rules.

Store View Tickets changes one selected ticket at a time. Free Shipping applies the product to free shipping processing, Google Feed controls the product's inclusion in the Google Merchant Feed, and Hide from Guests hides the price from non-logged-in visitors.

Update availability sets the availability status for in-stock and out-of-stock separately. Leave as is to skip the field. The service clears the catalog cache of changed products, but the final visibility of the store also depends on its own cache and publishing structure.

Good to know

The search, filters, and sorting in the Products view do not change the products. The change is only made after the mass action is confirmed or the product editor saves it.

Products already in the target state can be skipped without writing. A blocked product will not change even if the rest of the set succeeds; check the result of the operation for Success , Skipped , and Failed .

Target product data completion work using Quality Score and Required Data Completion Rate, but review the details of the deficiency in the product editor before fixing.
