Make sure you delete the inventory line and not the product.

Mass deletion of inventory lines deletes variant or inventory lines based on their inventory SKU. It does not delete the product master record, but the deletion is still permanent and may affect the product balance and availability. The data transfer run processes the entire CSV file, not just the product that was previously open in the Dashboard.

Safe way to proceed:

1. Take export or other recovery material before deletion.
2. Create a single-column CSV with the title exactly products_stock_model .
3. Preview the file in Data Transfer and check each line for deletions, skips, and errors.
4. Confirm the deletion only when the SKUs and line quantities match the request, and finally check the remaining balance of the product.

Do not add a delete column or CONFIRM values to the file; the current profile confirms the entire run in a separate execution step.

Use this function only when the inventory line must be permanently deleted. If you want to change the quantity, use the import of inventory balances or edit the product inventory line. If you want to prevent the product from being sold, change the product's usage status. Make the necessary export or other recovery plan before running, as a deleted inventory line cannot be restored using the UI's undo function.

Prepare CSV according to current agreement

AI Commerce 's Product Inventory Line Deletion Import uses one and only one header: products_stock_model . Create a UTF-8 encoded CSV file and add each inventory SKU to be deleted to its own row. The current import processor uses the comma separator in the CSV library, but in a single column file, the separator is not visible in practice.

Do not add a delete column or CONFIRM value. In the current profile, the delete operation is confirmed for the entire run in a separate execution step, not on each row. The title must exactly match products_stock_model field. An empty file, an incorrect title, or an extra column will prevent the preview.

Preview deletion of inventory lines in Data Transfer

AI Commerce 's mass deletion of inventory lines is initiated from the Data Transfer view in the Control Panel. Select Product Inventory Lines Deletion Import , upload the prepared file, and run the preview. The preview does not write to the database yet, but resolves each products_stock_model value to the current inventory line.

Review the preview report for each row to be deleted, skipped, and incorrect. An unknown inventory SKU is an error, not a silent skip. A subsequent duplicate of the same inventory row will be marked as skipped, but the current profile description requires that the errors be corrected before execution. Fix the file and create a new preview until the row count and tags match the deletion request.

Confirm permanent deletion

AI Commerce n Product inventory line deletion import requires explicit confirmation from the administrator. Confirm the execution only when the preview matches the approved SKU list. The execution will retrieve the inventory line again and delete it in the transaction. If the line has disappeared after the preview, the line in question will fail and appear in the execution report.

Upon deletion, the system records the deleted quantity as a negative change in the inventory history if the quantity was non-zero. After all lines have been processed, the system recalculates the total quantity of each affected product from the inventory lines. This synchronization does not restore the deleted line, but rather updates the product summary with the remaining lines.

Check the run result and inventory balance

After mass deleting inventory lines in AI Commerce , open the completed run report from the Data Transfer History. Review the number of deleted, skipped, and failed lines, as well as any messages for each line. Keep the report with the change request so that the deleted inventory SKU, administrator, time, and outcome can be tracked.

Then open a few affected products and check the Inventory lines and the product inventory balance summary. Also, check the storefront to make sure the correct variant was removed and the other variants were retained. If the amount does not match the remaining lines, do not guess to create a replacement line, but clarify the discrepancy from the inventory history and the run report.

Fix errors before re-running

AI Commerce 's mass deletion of inventory lines will fix the incorrect products_stock_model from the original inventory data or from the inventory line in the Dashboard. Do not change it to the product SKU if the inventory line has its own variant or inventory identifier. Empty value, unknown value, and incorrect title will prevent the intended deletion; duplicate does not mean two rows to be deleted.

If a deleted inventory line is needed again, it must be recreated with the correct product, variant, inventory, quantity, and price information through an approved process. Mass deletion does not provide an undo function. Only rerun with a corrected CSV file and make sure not to include lines that have already been successfully deleted again.
