Verify your Google Merchant Center account
In order for Shopping Ads to appear on Google, your account must be verified in Google Merchant Center. You can either ask your current administrator to add permissions to your account. If an account has not been created, or you do not know the administrator, follow the instructions below to verify your account:
- Go to Google Merchant Center: Sign in to Google Merchant Center and go to Settings > Business information .
- Verify site ownership: Select Verify URL and follow the instructions to approve your site.
- Submit verification ID: Submit the verification DNS record as a support request to Petrosoft. You will receive it in Merchant Center when you verify ownership.
- Check confirmation: Wait for the record to be added, and test that the site is recognized as yours.
Once your account is verified, you can import products from your store using a product feed. The products can then be used in marketing campaigns in your Google Ads account connected to Merchant Center.
