Sales pipeline: manage deals with the CRM dashboard
Manage open deals with a visual CRM dashboard, anticipate sales with weighted forecasting, and keep sales stages moving.
The purpose of the CRM sales pipeline in sales
A sales pipeline is an internal CRM board for tracking open deals. Each column corresponds to a stage in the sales pipeline and each card represents a single deal. The board summarizes the deal value, owner, customer or prospect, time spent in the stage, and the status of the next activity.
Open Sales Pipeline
Open Sales Pipeline at /crm . The table shows the number of trades, total value, and weighted Forecast step by step.
A deal can be related to an existing customer or prospect. Organization and contact information can be stored on a prospect without a ready-made customer account.
The sales pipeline keeps open deals in one view, helps prioritize follow-ups, and makes ownership visible. It doesn't appear in the online store and doesn't change products, prices, or the customer's view.
Add a store
Select Deal at the top of the board. Enter at least a deal name and select a customer or fill in the prospect organization. Specify the value, stage, and owner. You can also add an expected end date and channel.
The sales pipeline and tenant currency are pre-populated on the form. They are not editable fields on this creation form. The saved deal will appear in the column for the selected stage.
Before saving, check that the owner is responsible for the follow-up of the deal and that the step reflects the current situation. The value is reported in the tenant's currency; the prospect's name does not create a customer account.
Move the transaction from one stage to another
A sales pipeline deal is moved by dragging the deal card to the target stage. The move to a regular stage is immediately updated on the board, after which the service confirms the change and returns the new column totals.
If the store has already moved elsewhere, the service will reject the change based on the old stage. The board will restore the previous state, load the updated data, and display a notification. Any other transfer error will also restore the board to the current state of the service.
Dragging to the Won or Lost stage always opens a confirmation window. You can enter the reason for winning or the reason code for losing and additional information. The confirmed closed deal is removed from the open work queue but remains in the CRM data and history.
Filter and organize the board
To narrow the sales pipeline , open Filters and select a single administrator or All owners in the Owner field. The owner filter will only load the stores of the selected owner and will be stored ownerAdminId parameter of the address.
In the Sort field, select Next Activity , Value (largest) , or Days in Stage . The sort is done on deals already loaded in the board and does not change the deal information.
The color and activity label on the left edge of the card indicate whether the next activity is late, today, soon, or missing a warning. The card also shows the store name, customer or prospect, value, owner initials, and {n} pv vaiheessa .
Interpret the weighted forecast
The Forecast for each stage column is calculated by multiplying the value of each open trade by the stage's probability of success and adding the results together. For example, a €10,000 trade at a 30% stage increases the weighted forecast by €3,000.
A forecast is not a promise of actual sales. It changes as stores are added or moved, their values are changed, or the probability of a stage is adjusted. Compare the forecast to actual sales and keep the stage percentages consistent with your process.
Define Sales Pipeline
To set up a sales pipeline , select Sales pipeline settings . You can rename the sales pipeline, add stages, edit stage names and success probabilities, and rearrange the stages by dragging.
Each probability must be between 0 and 100 percent. There must be at least two named stages in the sales pipeline, exactly one Won stage and exactly one Lost stage. Changing the stage type to Won or Lost will revert the previous stage of the same type to regular.
Finally, select Save . You cannot delete a stage if it contains trades; first move the trades to another stage and save the settings again.
CRM subscription and license
The sales pipeline is part of the CRM feature. Without a CRM subscription, the board opens in preview mode: the structure is visible, but the values are blurred and adding, moving, and other write operations are locked.
A CRM subscription alone does not replace administrator rights. If the service blocks writing or the session ID expires, reload the view and verify access before attempting again.
In preview mode, you cannot drag and drop deal cards or confirm closing actions. Enable CRM on the order before building the sales process on the board; just because the structure is already visible does not mean that writing is allowed.
Good to know
The sales pipeline shows the steps of one sales pipeline at a time. The deal card gives you access to deal details, where you can manage activities, notes, owner, and outcome, among other things.
The weighted forecast for the board uses the tenant currency. Only an available administrator returned by the service can be selected as the store owner.
Dragging does not lock the transaction from other users, but the step-specific wait value prevents overwriting the old situation. Reload the board if another user has changed other transaction data at the same time.
